I have recently checked out Superbuild’s estimating software, which is free for single users. It’s a web based program, so there’s no downloading. I really like the layout of it’s estimating process. has anyone tried it? I know it’s endorsed by home depot, and most of the program’s other “features” are really lame. But I really like the way the estimating is. It’s very fast and easy to use. A lot of clicking, and less typing. It definately lacks in many areas, and I question it’s accuracy in it’s numbers, but I was impressed in the number of items it has in it’s database. Especially things easily forgotten like Daily Setup & Job Site Clean Up or insulate Weight Pocket when doing a window replacement, and other common items used in small repair and remodel businesses like myself. I was wondering if anybody knew of another software that uses a similar format for estimating. This is the first time I’ve seen it.
