SW Duration vs Valspar Duramax Exterior

Getting ready to paint the trim on our brick home and undecided on which paint to use. Been powerwashing, scraping and sanding, I have pretty much down to bare wood. Plann on using an oil base primer.
Just got frome Lowes, 0 help, Valspar Duramax @ $34.00 gal. Have read good review here!
SW store, young lady tried to sell me down from Duration, “said it’s a self priming paint and if I prime, you don’t need it” Reccommended the SuperPaint line or A-100 line
Duration @ $47.00 gal. Also have read excellent reviews here also.
I am leaning towards the Valspar Duramax with a oil base primer, reccommendations or comments??????

Any one out there used this Valspar Duramax???
I've used them both & would give a slight nod to SW product but our local store acts disappointed one has the audacity to show up whereas at the local Lowes the paint dept. is their one redeemable area of merchandising
I was in there a couple days ago and they cheerfully mixed up seven cans i brought in while selling me one porch & deck gallon
they still give paint can openers & an amazing amount of kindling to stir them up
we'll be painting 108 yr olde balustrades on my front porch w/ American Traditions ( former subsidiary of Valspar ) Duramax today
I also use an oil base primer on bare wood
Thanks for the reply John.
I was a little suprised that the sales girl was talking me out of the Duration, she didn't seem to be a seasoned pro @ sales.
I have an acct. @ SW and both Lowes & SW are within 1/2 mile of each other. It's a toss up!
I am kinda leaning towards the Valspar, unless someone else can convince me not the best way to go.
Thanks
I've found that at my closest SW store, the regular help don't really know much about anything and turnover is very high. The manager, though, has been there for several years and does know her stuff. Go to your SW and ask for the manager.I had my rental house painted last year. The siding is asbesto-cement board and wood trim and the painters used a fancy Tnemic brand epoxy primer (was greenish in color) and then topcoated with 2 coats of SW Duration. They said that was the best finish possible. I've had no reason to doubt them.
Just did my house with the Valspar off the shelf white satin. Great finish. I would use it again. Won't look any further. Wooster brush two coats.
I've been buying brownish shades of mismatched duramax to paint my house from Lowes for $5 / gallon. Also got some green for the trim. Heck, I don't know how to pick colors anyway. I'll be happy with it.
