Building 70 x 30 enclosure – Chicago area. Would appreciate advice/suggestions from “experience”; especially as relates to “vapor barrier”.
Construction is: 2×6 end walls, glulams (front posts and overhead)7ft OC.,Ceiling is: 2x6T&G Cedar decking, SIP’s with venting, I&W Shield, shingles. Ceiling and front wall also incorporates large expanse of insulated glass (alum. framed) Desert Aire system is being installed.
Is 6 mil. poly adequate and permeance rated at 0.1 or less? Any advice from experience is appreciated. Thanks. Note: Crane is setting glulams
next Monday (2/11).

Just a note to the wise.
The thickness of the poly is not as important as the installation. You could install 4 mil and be fine or install 8 mil that leaks like a sieve.
Overlap one stud or joist, seal with accoustical caulking all joints and penetrations.
