Swoop Roof

Hi everyone,
We are interested in framing a swoop roof on one side of a cross gable we want to add as a covered deck on an ADU/outbuilding of sorts we have.

No amount of googling has given me any formal way to lay this out. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to do this? I have seen these laid out a couple of ways.
