It is so cool, and Tajima is now offering a heavier duty one, and is selling just the bobs, in a couple different weights.
Have you used one? I am buying some bobs only, to have as gifts to subs. The gimbaled yoke at the top of the bob, where the string attaches, makes the bob go dead and on center, plumb, within seconds.

I have one and love it.
Who Dares Wins.
Dang it Mr. Micro,
I'v had one of these for years. They are great and fit real nice in my tool pouch. Greased lightening fast for door framing and Raco work. I'll break one about once a year and have to get another one. Always have a new one in reserve.
Bad thing is now that you have clued me in on their having a heavy duty one means I'm going to call up Berlands House of Tools in Chicago and get a couple of of the new heavy duty ones. Seems the curse of being in the trades is the longer you stay in the game the more tools you "just gotta get." Thanks to you posting this great info now I've "just gotta get" more tools.
Just Kidding Mr. Micro. It's super you posted this cause when I use one ~ 100 times a day sooner or later they get tore up. Can't wait to check out "heavy duty" job.
Thanks for the great info. This tool is one of my most favorites and I rarely see info on it. It's posts like yours that make BT such a great sorce for invaluable knowledge.
Thanks Again!
Cork.

Thanks JoeH!!
Couldn't find it on Berlands web site but your link worked great. Gotta get some and also the ink line. I hate having to go back and spray down contol and reference lines. Both are going to be great to have.
Thanks Again,
Cork.
