Have a customer who wants to replace a gas hot water tank during a remodel simply due to its age. The tank is located in a utility closet in a small cottage where storage space is already minimal. The cottage is primarily used only on weekends during the summer months. I suggested looking into a tankless heater to save space and to keep from heating water all summer when its not being used for more than a couple days a month. Has anybody had any experience with the tankless heaters? Any brands I should avoid? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
