I would like to ask your opinion on this deal. I can pick up a used Tapco Pro II metal breaker, 10/12 ft ?, for $500.00.
Is that a good deal?
Since it is used, anything that I should be looking out in particular?
Thanks

the Tapco Pro III (3 !) sells for $875 new.. without any accessories.... so $500 for the ProII may or may not be a good thing....
*The Pro II 10'6" I bought in 1990 was right at $1000 tax and all...., so if the one you're looking at is in decent shape, 1/2 price ain't bad.I bought a ProIII 8'6" model couple years ago and it was around $800.There is very little difference in the two in my opinion, I like the 8'6" just because it's lighter.Watch for obivious drop damage, look at the hinge to make sure it's ok, also have they run a ultilty knife off the coil and into the hinge a lot...scratches your metal on hems....the vinyl edging can be replaced...I do mine every few years....
