I seem to recall seeing in a back issue of FHB, a subsurface for deck over interior space that was tapered to provide drainage.
I did the search and found nothing. Does anybody recall this?
I’m looking for an alternative to tapered stringers/treated plywood/membrane as a subsurface for a composite decking top surface over interior space.
Thanks
Peter

I googled on "tapered roof panels" and got these links, but there were lots more.

There's an extensive article in #113 about installing a rubber roof membrane for a deck over living space. Not what you asked for, but it's interesting and might have some useful info.

Thanks for the links. It would appear that they're all roofinf focused and I'll have to dig deep to see if they are material that can withstand the foot traffic of a deck.
I think the referrence to issue 133 by ElCid is the one I was thinking of. I thought it addressed tapered substrate but I could be wrong - it has happened before >)
The rubber membrane part rings a big bell.
Thanks guys!
