Maybe he will take on Andy now that he will be out of work shortly.
Thanks for thinking of me, but well before I gave notice I already had two months worth of work lined up. If I get the job I'm going to look at tomorrow morning, I may be hiring.Arguing with a Breaktimer is like mud-wrestling a pig -- Sooner or later you find out the pig loves it.
Well I did not want your kids to go hungry!
But I was not sure that you would be qualified for the position <VBG>.
But I think that I figured out why you are doing this now.
The kids are starting to get old enough where you can get some usefull work out and then and don't, but don't have to worry about paying them <G>.

That had always been my dream, but now that they are in fact old enough to be useful, it turns out they're running dog capitalists. Of course we've been raising 'em that way, but it never occurred to my wife and I that they'd turn it around on us. Should have home schooled....

I can imagine that there are people who think these forums are the Taunton area, and have no idea that Taunton, CT is an actual place.
LOL, It is true that if one spends too much time in the forums, one's perceptions of real places tends to waver and wander.

For what it's worth:
I grew up in MA, I know there is a "Taunton" in MA.
I live in CT, there is no town named Taunton, CT. At least not that I've ever heard of.
As you already know, Taunton Press offices are located in Newtown, CT. I don't know the origins of the "Taunton Press" name, if it was started in MA and moved to CT, etc, or if the name has some other meaning...or if it just sounded good.
See? I'm just as ignorant as anybody else. :o)
The Taunton Press is Newtown born and bred. The name comes from the Taunton district of town, where the company founders Paul and Jan Roman live. I think they just liked the name. Ruth DobsevageTaunton New Media
Ruth,
Thanks for the clarification.
PS: Make sure Andy gives a proper cleaning to his corner penthouse office before you let him leave. It'd be a pity if his replacement had to content with a film of dust on the walnut paneled walls...
Oh, and Andy said something to me about after he leaves, that once home, he'll "never ever have to worry about running out of paperclips or pencils ever again." Not sure what he meant by that, though...<g>
Ruth has it right. when I say Taunton area I mean Newtown, Oxford, Ridgefield etc. All in Ct. of course. I could'nt afford to live in Taxachusetts.
