Due to budget constraints, I’m contemplating using 1/4″ tempered glass on the three walls surrounding my tub, and backpainting the glass prior to installation. Has anyone done this before? I’m interested in the paint used for backpainting the glass, if channel was used at the top and bottom to secure the glass, or adhesive, or adhesive tape; and if the particular adhesive used was visible through the glass. I know that the paint on the glass will appear darker than the wall color. Also, if anyone has any horror stories, I’d love ot hear about them.
