I’ve repaired lots of homes with termite damage in the past; most of it minor to moderately severe. Most of this damage has been in the stud walls and around window openings.  This case is one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. The termites have almost completely destroyed about twelve to fifteen feet of both top plates down one outside bearing wall and approxiamately fifteen feet of both top plates down an intersecting bearing wall. The studs in the walls are basically undamaged. I would love to hear some ideas on how to approache this problem and possible repair techniques.
