So I am in the process of getting a new insurance policy and the agent sent me the policy paperwork and now they even offer Terrorist Insurance! I hadn’t heard of that until now.
I won’t be getting it as its $550 for a year and my premium is already high enough but thought it was interesting that its even offered. Not sure how it would apply to someone like me as I am more concerned about a sub going south on me and causing trouble than Al Qaida sabotaging one of my jobs but still interesting that it is being sold.

Buy it, we will all come down to fla. and terrorize you!>G<
I wonder if the Terrorists have to be foreign or just from out of State? I mean even some parts of Florida are considered "foreign" to the rest of us?
Like Key West?
I lived in W palm Beech area when I was just out of college and I thought it was just a southern NYC!.
Uh, despite a popular pronunciation, that's TERRORIST, not TOURIST.

Its interesting- my policy automatically covers terrorism, along with the associated premium(not a lot of $ though). In the fine print, on a separate sheet of paper, in the back of the policy book, under a bunch of other stuff, it tells me how I can opt out. That takes a phone call, a fax, and more time than I feel like giving to it. I have to do this every year.Grrrrr!

Boy - I sure could have used terrorist insurance when I went through my divorce. Does it cover ex's, and their attorneys? Oh yeah, and the family law courts. And hey, how about OSHA and the IRS, while we're at it!
