Can someone point me in the right direction? I want to research using a 16-gage air stapler firing 7/16″ crown staples at 1-1/4″ for a flooring job I am planning.
Does anyone know whether any of the known biggies (Senco, Paslode, Bostitch, Max, Porter-Cable, Hitachi, etc.) have nose adapters for their 16-gage general purpose guns that make hardwood flooring fastening easy?
How about aftermarket tool accessory folks?

we've got the bostich floor stapler... boy,is it sweet and no, i don't know of an adapter
the tap of the hammer to fire the floor stapler is part of the process... just adapting the nose is not going to be enough.. you need considerable force to drive the nail/staple and the board at the same time

Buy or rent a flooring stapler.
It will make your job go faster and come out better than trying to use the wrong tool for the job
Lets not make things difficult unneccessarily.
Is your flooring something other than 3/4" t&g?
They make different thickness "Shoes" for flooring nailers for different thickness flooring.
