I saw this while driving in western Va, it’s south of I-64 on Hwy 220, north of the town of Iron Gate, about 25 miles from the WVA border. Unfortunately the pictures do not show it like it really is. First, the flag really stands out, it is much easier to see than the picture. Second, the knife edge of rock is incredible. Maybe it looks more dramatic from the other side. The flag itself is about 300+ feet above a river. I’ll go back in the spring and get more pictures when the trees are blooming and I have more time.
The larger picture is a copy of the small one with the same name, no reason to open it unles you want more pixels.
