Woke up this early a.m. to this. Here are a couple pre-dawn shots looking out my window.
Birch tree all sagged out.
Firs and a hemlock with some fresh wet white stuff.
We’re looking forward to some T-shirt weather!

Looks cold up there Gene. Shovel much or will it melt off quickly?
I won't tell you the temp for today but I got a little sunburn yesterday. If it's here it won't be long before NY get's it.
I used the blower to clear the driveway, with the temp at 29F. Our snow stays with us until sometime in May. The shady spots in the woods up high will have some left in early June, some years.
How late do you think Whiteface will be open till this year.
It all depends on the weather, but yesterday, bright sunshine and temps right at 28 or so, conditions on Skyward, the big black diamond trail adjacent the summit quad, were fabulous!
