In Google news today:
The above is a snapshot picture I took from my Google News home page, using the very useful freeware MWSnap.
Now if someone would give me a nice quick tutorial on how to do a link as a word in text, I would sure appreciate it. You know, like some posts say, “see information here”

Usually if you just copy/paste the whole blurb the links will paste live and function.
To do the here thing a copy/paste of the desired link is first,
http://www.schluter.com/8_4_kerdi_shower_kit.aspx
then scroll across the live link with the left click held down which will highlight the link, type 'here' in its place and it should appear as such...

Are you using Firefox or IE?
If using Firefox, you would need to use some HTML codes.
<a href=www.mylinkhere.com>Text that should turn blue and be a link</a>
Substitute the appropriate URL for my fake URL and change the text to be whatever you want it to be.
Make sure you check the box below that says "check here if HTML tage are in the message"

Better yet, try this thread by Luka.I cannot open it to verify if the thread still exists, but I imagine that it's in the Tavern and I haven't had the Tavern enabled for some time now.

Gene... how are you doing with Chief X1 ?..
any first impressions ?
Mike, I am using the v.10.08.a I bought from a Phoenix guy that was selling his second and third seats. Got it with full license from ART, Inc.
Then I bought a 7-disk DVD training set on eBay, and went to work learning. You may have seen one of the hundreds of posts I did on ChiefTalk begging for help.
I've come a long way, I think. Using houses I already designed and built for my self-taught Chief training, I've completed three, plus some one-room shacks with nice kitchens inside. And they have some complexities, for sure.
I can build roofs and frame with the best of them. Kitchens are a no brainer. What is still stumping me is some of the convoluted ways you do the living spaces under roof on capes, dormered bungalows, and things like that.
I'll upgrade to X1 as soon as I have a check from some completed work. X1 will be nice, in that Google Sketchup integrates nicely into it, which I cannot do as readily with V10.
