In Lake Placid, NY, at 2000 feet of elevation in the northern Adirondack mountains, we usually get some snow buildup during the winter season.
We did not get much up until the St. Valentine’s day storm, but with that storm, thinks are looking good.
By this time each year the plowed roads typically have banks six or seven feet high. Before the storm, we had dinky one-footers. Now it looks like this.
Our rooftops had a little cover, but the storm laid on another three feet or so. Here’s our house. We aren’t skiing today because it is pretty windy, but tomorrow should be fabulous.

Tha'ts quite the sight. We didn't get hit quite as hard here in Boston but after having dug my jobsite out for the past five hours, I can assure you that that snow is heavy as all sh*t. enjoy the slopes, i'll be horizontal with a heating pad for the day's remain.
Well Gene,
I guess I have to apologize, to most of NY state , Mon. I told Mr T that we've had no snow this winter and it was just real cold.I didn't mean anything by it, I wasn't complaining but as usual when I open my mouth or wash my truck and then the thunder storms start.Well ,you see what happens.
WE got close to 30" here.I take full responsible.
