I moved into a new home eight months ago. It’s a two story home and was built in 2007. Every day, usually around the same time, I hear a popping noise within the ceiling/wall in the living room. It seems to happen mainly on sunny days. My guess is, thermal expansion. Does that sound right? Is this something I should be concerned about? It’s not loud enough to wake a sleeping baby, but it’s something I curious about.
