…I love the stuff, but don’t use it enough to keep the bottle flowing. Can you thin it without compromising strength?
Thanks,
Scott.

No, you can't. If it has gotten thick in the bottle over time, it has started to cure. Best to toss it out and buy fresh glue.

Squeeze the bottle to get as much air out as possible, cap it, and store it in the freeezer. I've just been using some poly glue i opened up two years ago.
>>>Squeeze the bottle to get as much air out as possible, cap it, and store it in the freeezer. Now that is something I never would have thought of. Thanks.Scott.Always remember those first immortal words that Adam said to Eve, “You’d better stand back, I don’t know how big this thing’s going to get.”
can't really thin that stuff that I know of and have it keep it's integrity....
but you can put the bottle in very warm to near hot water to make it readily flow better...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
it cures from moisture. Once you have used enough that humid air is getting into the bottle, some curing has begun. Throw it out when warm poly won't flow easily.
Next time, buy smaller bottle and keep the lid on. I notice some guys leave a lid off all day and just cap it to put aaway end of day. That is exposing a lot of humidity/airborne moisture to th eglue.
splintie lives n a more arid climate so that makes a difference too....
