When you get down under the weight of a project that feels like it will never end, reviewing the photo archives as a reminder of just how far you’ve come seems to help a lot.
Here’s what I was doing a year ago today in freezing rain.
Man am I ever gonna feel better working into the late hours INSIDE this house tonight! I think I’ll print these and tack them on the wall!

I think anytime you feel overwhelmed by looking at what you need to get done it's helpful to look back and see how far you've come.

We're fortunate (In more ways than one) that my Sister lives in Florida. When we moved into our first house we made a videotape of the house inside and out. Then we sent it to her so she could see what the place looked like.
She eventually gave it back and we hung onto it.
Every year or two it was fun to look back at what the house and yard looked like when we moved in and remember all the things that we'd done. I always laugh at some of the things we put up with back then - Like not having a shower for the first year. Or the kitchen that was dark as a tomb. Garage roof caved in.

So I hope you've taken lots of pictures along the way. They'll mean a great deal to you later on.
Everything coming your way? You're in the wrong lane.
