I have a 12″ compound miter saw and have had no issues but I am looking to get some other equipment (band saw and planer). The prices are competitive, etc.
Any experiences, good or bad?

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

I have the 13" planer and the 10" table saw with stamped metal wings. One of the miter slots in the saw table was very slightly undersize, and the miter gauge bar would not fit. I used a carborundum stone to widen it (took about 30 min) and since then the saw has been fine. I'm on my second planer. The first one would not hold a thickness setting, even with the head lock, and the doodad that's supposed to lock the head from spinning so you can change the blade was defective, so I couldn't change blades. HD replaced it with no questoions, and the second one has been fine.
I have a Delta 14" band saw, about 12 yrs old, and it has been good. Weighs a ton, so be sure to get a mobile base.
