Hello All,

The long awaited Threaded/Outline View is now live. You will notice the outline button at the top of the screen next to the messages button. Here is how it works:

When you click on the outline button a second browser window should open up, you will then see the messages in a threaded view. What I do is drag the threaded view window off to the right of my screen and minimize it so that the main board is still visible, now when I click on any thread in the outline view the main screen should redisplay with the message I clicked on through the other view. Now when you reply or post new you will always do this in the main window. I like to think of the threaded view as a navigation tool. Click on a thread and it is redisplayed in the main window.It allows you to see who posted the message when it was posted and who it was a reply to. So give it a whirl and let me know how it goes.

Bold in threaded view means that you created that message or replied to it. Once you have “read” a message it will turn red. When a thread gets to long to display all of the messages, the title of the message becomes a link and when you click on it all of the messages within that thread are now displayed. Click on all discussions to get back to the main threaded view.

One last thing you will notice that it takes a little while for the threaded view to load once you have clicked on it, the reason is because there is some heavy duty code going on behind the scenes so you need to have a little patience with it. Hopefully as time goes on Prospero will improve this.
