Handmade stoneware tiles –
The 6x6s (shells) are $28; 8×8 oyster shells are $35; the 8×8 crab with hand-built claw is $55. Further colors are available.
The six 6×6 completely hand-built (over a hundred of the world’s tiniest pinch pots, suckers) octopus mural is only $540, because it has a tiny repaired spot at the base of one tentacle. Such a deal!
More information than you could ever need, upon request.

Pretty cool!

on the floor!
Two years ago, as I sat down to rest my legs and feet at the Dallas Woodworking Show, I got to talking to two fellows. They were some of the first to use the Beta Version of the CarveRight machine sold by Sears and Rockler...
They were making specialized tiles for not only baths, but also to be placed/inlayed in the middle of large floors as well as High foot traffic zones. There's been a lot of disappointment in that machine since then, but for smaller carvings that rubber molds could be pulled from, it might be something that would cut down on her R&D time and also provide some complex designs she couldn't otherwise reproduce in ceramics..
Sometimes, you can find a disappointed owner of a low hour machine willing to take a big hit just to get rid of it. Sears even had a newpaper ad a few months ago, showing a special price for "refurbished" machines.... Heck, tonight(Nov.16), between 6pm. and 9p.m. Sears' stores have a "friends and family" sale with a 10% discount on "Almost Everything"....

Lovely Christmas gifts!
Not sure what's available here right now here - ask! Small botanical ornaments (<$20) can be seen at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and Anna Marie Gardens in Solomons, MD.

Those are cool. Has your wife thought about putting them in galleries as long as the commission is not too high?
Ooops, just saw that they are already in galleries.
We're going to the Phoenix Botanical Gardens after the holidays to see a Chihuly exhibit. Can't wait.
