I am planning to use spectra lock epoxy grout (to reduce staining and easier clean up) in the bathrooms in my new house. I just recently heard that there are problems with it coming up and not holding up well. Any truth to that? Any other comments??

I've used SpectraLock Pro extensivly with no problems. The clean up is specialized and instructions should be followed to a 'T'. Don't guess about the vineger and water last cleaning, count on doing it. Have your water measured out ahead of time and everthing ready before you begin.

We've used spectra lock on numerous jobs over the past few years with no problems. I would recommend the product. After you move in make sure to use a neutral cleaner on the floor rather than a regular floor cleaner. The regular floor cleaners leave behind a residue which will attract dirt.
