I have a 2nd floor shear wall over a span, running perpendicular to TJI’s below. The shear wall soleplate is nailed into blocking between the TJI’s. I believe we may need web stiffeners between TJI’s but am unsure how to make the connection. I have looked through Weyerhaeuser’s installation guide but did not see what I was looking for. Has anyone had to do this before?
TJI 210, 11 7/8″, 16″ O.C.
The span is 16′
The Shear wall and blocking are about 2′ off the parallam ridgebeam.
Thank you.

I remember an old TJI detail (2003ish) had the webbing of the block 'tabbing' into the web stiffeners. Then screw these webs together with 2x2s in all corners. Haven't seen that done in ...ever.
With the extended lengths TJIs offer, keeping them "in plane" seems to be the more important job of the blocking than base support of the wall.
