It’s not as if I could enjoy it much because I was inside painting, but I did have my lunch on their back porch where I took this picture.
It’s Port Liberte, Jersey City… It should be obvious how it got its name. And that’s Manhattan to the left.

Yes, it is. I don't think I've ever actually been on it.
This was my view a few weeks ago, atop of Doge Mountain, Rockport Maine, overlooking Penobscot Bay.

Nice!
I see spring hasn't gotten to Rockport yet.
Saw the best fireworks show I've ever seen from the Brooklyn Bridge. Happened to be doing a show in NYC Memorial Day Weekend, and someone said Southport put up some pretty good incendiaries. When we walked down there, we couldn't even get close.I remembered hearing about a walking part of the bridge. I'd never been up above a fireworks launching. Very cool... and the beginning of our kids short pyrotechnic careers<G>http://www.tvwsolar.com
Now I wish I could give Brother Bill his great thrill
I would set him in chains at the top of the hill
Then send out for some pillars and Cecil B. DeMille
He could die happily ever after"
With a view like that I'd never get any work done. I'd be staring out the window and wondering what fish were biting right now.~ Ted W ~
