Hi all,
I was shopping for a dump trailer today, and saw a tool trailer for sale. It is NOT my trailer, and I am in NO way associated with the dealer. Just passing on the information to whoever may be looking for one of these.
It was a tandem axle, Built in 2001, or so, and the sticker said $5795.00
The dealer is in Fort Collins, CO. Their website is
There is no photo in their inventory page, so Call’em if your interested.

Is that yours? I've been looking for a 7x14, but the price is right on that Haulmark you posted.
no it's not mine,i live in wichita about a 100 miles south of where that trailer is at.
i have a dump 7x11 ,it is one of the best tool investments i have ever made. the only thing i don't like is ,the thieves would like to have it also.................so i have to think about where it's parked and if they could get to it. i prefer to park it inside a attached garage while working on the house, pull it out when it's full.the older i get ,

Could you put a LO Jack on it?
yes i could, and if someone grabs it i will wish it had it, but it's all about overhead, i have 5 trailers, bobcat etc. by the time i wire each of them and pay fr monitoring i'd probably be spending 1000. a year. so i just take my chances.
i had a trailer stolen about 10 years ago, 4 years later i saw it,called the cops etc. they agreed it was mine, the one i had filed a report on 4 yrs earlier, but statue of limitations had run out! so i ended up buying it back! i learned so much on that deal. if i would of just hooked on and went, even if i had only gotten 2 blks away, that guy would of had to prove it was his and not mine.i actually had old pictures of it behind my truck.
possesion9/10 of the law does apply.the older i get ,

Yet Allstate can get a bus back 35 yrs later.

I've been in a similar situation. Cops weren't much help at that point. They reccomended that I get a lawyer.
ha! same thing they told me,you will have to take him to court, you probably will win as he doesn't have a good solid story. but you might not.
so by the time i got to court,i was ahead just to buy the trailer back and go on.
next time i will do it differently.
i would think that the guy that restored that vw it would have some claim to it ,if nothing else in a mechanics lien for the work done. really not his fault,he possesed a title that said it was his.the older i get ,
