Tools for soldering sheet copper
I’m building a pair of exterior doors and I want to make a copper sill pan and head cap flashings. I’ve been looking online for tools and am not sure what’s the best and cheapest way to go. I don’t need a fancy rig for the three or four exterior units that I build each year. I just want a good setup. Thank you.

I'm sure seeyou will have better advice, but I think what you basically need is a good sized soldering copper ("iron") and some sort of torch or stove. Plus a few appropriate tin-bending tools (eg, sheet metal pliers) and maybe a couple of small welding-style clamps, or whatever clamps you can make do with.
If you fold the pieces right, all you need is a plumber's propane torch. Just clamp and solder before you install to keep from starting a fire.
Thanks guys.
