I have a fairly new house (3 yrs old) and the plumber the builder used installed flexable gas line called Tracpipe. Can this stuff be bought with the ends on it? I’d like to run a line for my barbacue which I would run this from the manifold where all the Tracpipe meets. I would have black pipe through the wall with a valve outside just before the quick-connect for the hose to the barby. I’d probably put a valve inside the house too so I could shut it down in the winter. Has anyone used this Tracpipe? Is it expensive? I’m thinking it’s cheep and quick to install. Thanks for any help.

The easy way would be to have the plumber come back out. If not check with your local plumbing supply house. In order to install flexible gas pipe you need to take a short class and take a test to learn how to properly install. It is easy and included a certification. You should not need to use black pipe to go through the wall. The supply house will also have all the parts you need.
