From the pic (if I’m seeing correctly) it does not appear to be a transition piece, but is a door sill. If it is a sill, it can not be removed as it’s built into the door. You will have to install a transition to cover the gap for floating floor at the sill.
It is the wooden appearning strip. It does have one lip over the door sill but not for sure it part of the window sill per say?
It's part of the threshold, as stated. They're usually tall enough to accomadate a small quarter round or other transition piece. Is this why you're looking to remove it?
