I am currently training with a trim carpentry company, DIXON/MORGAN carpenters in Kiawah S.C. They mostly work for www.koenigconstruction.com. I have learned how to set up a door schedual. I have helped my lead man assemble “knock down” doors using the Portar Cable Butt hinge template. I have hung 6’8″ and 8’0″ raised panal pine doors, set up and trimed several widows including stools and aprons. I have also had a great deal of prctice coping baseboard fits. We are currently working with an eight inch speed base with a colonial detail. Befor this project is over I will help the lead man run a staircase using standard L.J. Smith stairparts in a post over post railing system. The staircase is a single run with no landings and no turns. I can provide pictures of the project I am involved in. I am a 36 year old chef inspired toward a carrer change. I am looking for a high end Trim carpentry company willing to teach me more about this field. I can offer loyalty and a great willingness to learn more. I have written references from DIXON/MORGAN as well as email [email protected]
