Trim carpenter loses all his tools!

And has to start all over again.
A blank slate.
If it were me, I would go all Festool, and begin with this, the MFT3.
Let’s add up to get the cost of what you need to get going again.
This, the vac, the plungesaw, the Kapex, the sander, router, all those clamp accessories, various lengths of the guide, etc., etc.

Screw that. I'd want to start off with a hammer and some other basic hand tools. Get a chop saw. Some clamps, shop vac. Finish nailers. You know. Stuff you have to have.
I'd fire you for blowing all my money on luxury items.
Hack.
Whoomp there it is.

now now... would you fire him or kiss him? and who buys tools anymore when there are dudes to kiss... in a non faggot way of course

If a man trims a thousand houses and kisses one man, they don't call him a Trim Carpenter... they call him a man kisser.
Our lips never touched. We were breaking the look each other in the eye rule and waived off. Maybe next time though.
Whoomp there it is.

LOL... it was reported a deep loving longing kiss.... I read it so it must be true...
if guys can't resist you what chance do chicks have....

That's the problem with the media. They focus solely on the kiss and never once said anything about the hands down the pants. Once again only telling half the story.
Whoomp there it is.

I'd get a calculator, proposal pad and pen.
I still have my hand miter box and all old hand tools for trim, if i do just a very small job i still use them
Gene,
I'm just guessing, but I'll bet you wrap up 10k pretty quick. I could probably invest 5k in other brand tools and have similar capabilities, if not more.
I own a few Festool tools and the vac and like the integration among their products, except for the proprietary blades, bits, and abrasives.
But from a business standpoint, I wouldn't want to be dependent on one brand only. I buy tools based on their ability to perform certain tasks in the field. I used to be brand loyal, but anymore.
However, if you buy all of them and then decide you don't like them, I'll take them off your hands, for a reduced price. ;>)
