Here is a link to an article in our local paper. We did all the interior trim carpentry in this house, including the plaster cornice work, setting the cabinets and hanging all the doors.. It took us 9 months from start to finish with a crew ranging from 4 guys up to 12.

Here is a link to a few photos that I took. You will see that most of my talents are in carpentry and not photography. http://www.garrisonrentals.com/linbrook/Page1.htmlWarning: These photos have not been reduced therefor not reccomended for dialup.

I am impressed. I assume you are the boss of the trim co. How did the process go to be awarded the job? Also curiousity, if you don't mind, what was the trim cost, labor only, for such a project? You can just ballpark it if you want!ADH Carpentry & Woodwork

that job is on the first page of refernces, wow 25 mil for a house, plus what 1.5m a year to maintain it.makes me think i ought to take my co. to a public stock offerring. maybe i could raise enough to buy a mcdonalds hamburger. larryhand me the chainsaw, i need to trim the casing just a hair.
This was by far the biggest job I have ever done. The actual cost of the house was around 10 mil from what I have heard. Everything was just huge on this job. The house has 15' ceilings on the first and second floors. I spent $4,000.00 renting scaffolding to install the crown mold. Most of the crown was 6 or 8 pieces. The front formal rooms had precast plaster crown that measured about 18" across. My quote for the labor to install everything was about 250,000. Check out the scaffold we had to erect to install the pediment above the cased opening at the top of the stairs. It's about 25 or 30 feet above the floor of the foyer.
