I already have a 16 gauge trim nailer, however I’ve got some black walnut trim to put up that is 12 inches wide and up to 20 feet long.. seems too small for 16 gauge nails but the next largest size offered is only a 15 gauge.
Am I missing something here? And why doesn’t anyone offer stainless steel trim nails? I have looked all over and can’t find anything..

Are you talking stainless nails for your gun or just stainless hand driven trim nails?

Frenchy, closer to home here - you might try Anchor Fasteners. They on West 7th Street in St. Paul. I found them last week, when I was looking for stainless steel staples to put up cedar shake siding. They were one of the few places in town that had them - in stock. Price was also much better than many were telling me. They carried Spot-Nails brand that fit my Paslode gun for just over half of what I was being quoted for Paslode brand.
Hope this helps.
Found my receipt - more info for you

thanks shoeman.. by the way, where do you live?
You're welcome, Frenchy
I live in Minneapolis.
Where in Minneapolis? I was raised a few blocks off the SW corner of Lake Harriet.Formerly BEMW at The High Desert Group LLC
I'm over by Minnehaha Falls - got a nice greenway with bike path that runs from here over to Harriet and up around Calhoun. Nice area to grow up.

Stop by sometime and check out the progress on the timberframe.. I live out on lake Minnetonka Out at the end of Casco point, down at the end of Ivy place.. Today I'll be putting stone up on the wall.
PS do so at your own risk, I've been known to put wood in strangers cars whenever they are foolish enough to stop by..
Yeah, I have been thinking I should stop by and check your progress. I emailed you last spring and you gave me your phone # and address - which I no longer have. I then found your place on July 4 last year, while we were out putting around the lake. Docked and came up to say hi, but you were out. Took a couple quick pictures of your work - which I posted here last fall.
Will have to try to stop by in the next few weeks. Will call ahead to be sure you are there if you want to email me your phone # again.
Any good local lumberyards (Saint Paul) you could recommend, Shoeman?
Sorry JC don't really have any that I can strongly reccommend.
