i tried putting up this medallion over my ceiling fan with “no more nails” adhesive, as I didn’t want to use any nails. But to no avail, it didn’t stick and is now sitting on top of my ceiling fan…lol. Is there another way to put this medallion up without using screws etc.

Did you prop it up?
or use the fan's trimmer to keep it tite against the ceiling while the adhesive set?
Over or Under?
How did you manage to get the medallion on the ceiling without taking the ceiling fan down?
I you cut a hole so it would fit AROUND the ceiling fan it's not going to have a very finished look anyway so I wouldn't hesitate to use a few small nails. Or better yet, trim screws.
ceiling rose ( or in North America a medallion)
Just did a big 42 inch one about 16 feet in the air.
Removed the old light fixture and added a temporary box extension to the octagon box in the ceiling which helps centre the rose in place. Lathered the back of the rose with white nail and stuck it in place. Made a "T" bracket and screwed it to a couple of 1x4's which now measured close to 16 feet and wedged it in position for about 5 hours. Next day I jambed some small backer rod around the edges (because the rose is not snug to the ceiling) and then caulked the edge.
When I was jambing in the backer rod I was wondering if the pressure of the backer rod would push the rose away from the ceiling. it didn't.
