Any suggestions? I have a customer who wants true divided lites in a smallish casement window, and all I’ve found have the internal simulated dividers. Thanks for any ideas.

I think Loewen makes some, don't they? Nice fir construction and well made.
Kolbe & kolbe..
or Andersen's new KLM series
or Marvin
Weathershield makes a trrue divided light. I think Marvin will too, but there muntin might be larger than the Weathershield one.
Your customer should be aware in asking for a true ADL with insulated glass, that the possibility of problems is multiplied eightfold. There are a lot more seams and joints to open the possibility of something going wrong. There will be an attendant upcharge as well.
Another disadvantage to ADL that probably will not effect you because of the samll size of the units, is that the overal unit structure is weaker. For instance, you will not find an ADL for a large window or door setup that will be approved for Dade County or other similar hurricane zones.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I had looked at Andersen's site and didn't see any but I'll look again. I had already installed a new window for them w/o the divided lites and they feel so strongly about it they're willing to pay me to put another one in...
these are OK

There are SDLs and there are SDLs. Not all window makers do Simulated Divided Lites the same.
Has your client seen the SDL products from window makers that have spacers in the airspace, and permanently-applied muntins on both the inside and outside glass faces?
If the answer is no, I suggest you and your client go to a high-end window showroom where this kind of lite division can be compared in appearance to TDL (true divided lite) construction.
I was in the glass biz, and our 2,500-employee plant in Mexico was producing many full truckloads per day of window products all using IG (insulated glass). I would never recommend using a TDL window, versus SDL. Earlier posters have made it clear why.
Well, I've tried to dissuade them but they seem to reallyyyyyyyyy want it. I'm gonna meet with them in a few days and lay out their options.
