At the last truss plant I worked at we offered them in place of double 2X12 headers.
We figured the cost of labor in assembling headers offset most of the cost difference. I think the upcharge was maybe around 100 a house, or soemthing in that range.
That's been a while back. How much are you looking at paying for them now? And how much for 2X12?
