We’re installing a new tub/shower with a two piece frameless glass hinged enclosure and are trying to find glass to glass hinges that can swing approx 240 Degrees. See picture attached. We’d like the moving panel to swing into the tub ~180 degrees to be flat with the fixed panel for tub use and swing out approx ~60 deg for shower entry/exit. The limit of 60 deg out is to prevent it from hitting the toilet bowl which is higher than the shower door.
Anyone know on any such hinge?
Maybe some type of “articulating” hinge?
Doesn’t seem to me that a pivot hinge is possible for use with the frameless design and ~66 high glass panes (is not tub to ceiling)
Thanks

Not a real good idea. The weight of the swinging piece can't be supported by the fixed piece. I would recommend making the fixed piece longer maybe even 36". That would give you splash protection. If you haven't plumbed it yet put the shower value on the right hand wall so you can turn it on without being in the shower.
Thanks for the comment. Bath is already finished except the glass. The sizing of the glass panels was designed to be able to reach the shower/tub valve -- "goof" was that the glass won't clear the toilet adjacent to tub on "wet wall".
Just to clarify this work will be done by a local glass shop. I've received 2 quotes.
*The first shop spec'd CRL GEN180CH hinges that as far as I can tell swing in 90 and out 90 Deg (total 180). They likely overlooked the 240 deg swing request. They also spec'd 1/2" glass on the fixed panel and 3/8" on the hinged panel.
*The 2nd shop spec'd 3/8" glass on both panels and did acknowledge the request to swing in 180 Deg and out 60 Deg but didn't indicate hinge types.
The purpose of my post is to better understand possible hinge solutions. See attached pic of similar design. Also see 2nd pic of floor display of panel that swings out 180 and ~10 Deg in. It is 3/8" glass but with support bar at the top. Also it is "semi" framed.
All I can say is good luck and I hope there are no kids in the household
