Twelve Days of Christmas
Twelve Projects that bring hope
We take so much for granted these days. We really do.
And, even though I can’t speak for everyone, it seems that we get so caught up in our hectic lives that we rarely stop to say thanks.
Or, we rarely give ourselves to someone. We have lost the altruistic nature of giving ourselves freely to someone and expecting nothing in return.
This Christmas season, our company has decided to become more active in ‘this season of giving.’
Day One:SouthEnd is supplying free labor and materials to a family in need of siding for their home.
Day Two:SouthEnd created a program that puts money back into communities where we have committed time to neighbors and their home improvement needs. Percentage of each project goes back into community for everything from building playgrounds to helping families in need or help pay medical bills for a neighbor in need as well as scholarships. Will launch soon.
Day Three: SouthEnd is dropping off gifts for NARI’s Toy for Tots drive.
Day Four: Our office manager volunteers for King’s Pajamas, a charity program that provides sleeping apparel for families in need and she created a logo for their nonprofit organization.
Day Five: One of our staff members is donating time for the Women’s Homeless shelter. Did you realize that there are over 4,000 homeless children in the Charlotte area?
Day Six: One of our Project Managers adopts a local family every year. This year his family has decided to go in with friends from their church to help a family of five that is struggling.
Day Seven: One employee took his son to donate toy trucks to military families in need.
Day Eight: One of our owners is hosting a neighborhood Christmas party for all of the children in community.
Day Nine: One SouthEnd employee has joined 9 families at his church to build a well for drinking water in a village overseas.
Day Ten: SouthEnd is committed to Habitat for Humanity for their third consecutive year. A tradition that will continue.
Day Eleven: SouthEnd is dropping off donation at Salvation Army headquarters.
Day Twelve: Christmas day! We ask all of our employees to enjoy their family and count all of their blessings. Relax, hug your love ones and remember it is the season of giving ourselves freely!
Merry Christmas from our family here at SouthEnd!
