We spend zillions on smart bombs.....how about spending zillions on creating smart kids?

Luka,I've heard it referred to here as "forgottonia", but lived here all my life & don't know any different - except what I read in FHB. That finger is quite a tool, too. And probably one of the few things you can't find on Ebay. By the way, how did you "mark" the digits on my finger, cyberguy? Fz
Forgottonia... Is that someplace in france ? Do you consume mass quantities of pizza and beer ?...Paint shop pro.Load the picture.Crop to just the finger area.Use the text tool to put the numbers in.Done.

Luka, (I know a guy whose family was from Luka, Italy by the way)Forgottonia,Pizza yes, (I think we have the best Pizza in the nation here from my poll) but no, it's not what we beer forgetting, but "la legislature" (I hope you understand espanol), forgetting us. It's west central Illinois - it was said "no way to get there from here" or maybe, "if you're wanting to go there, this is not the place to start." But all that's changing. We're getting roads. Maybe we've paid for them a dozen times, but still....And, we're getting tools, such as this gem from Ebay...Fz
No way you've got the best pizza.
New Jersey does.
With all the Italians around here, we'd better.

Got to one up you there. North Jersey pizza is still bettern' South Jersey pizza. ;-)

I think where I am is Central Jersey, not South. <G>
I've never had North Jersey pizza, so I can't compare.
But ours is pretty darn good.
You anywhere near Macomb? I grew up there...did<!---->Cure Diabetes - Death Valley 2006!<!---->
diddidit,You must have guessed Macomb from the pizza report. Yep.
Actually, Macomb is just about all there is in West Central Illinois, so it was sort of a given. Plus the comment about finally getting roads that we've paid for many times...did<!---->Cure Diabetes - Death Valley 2006!<!---->
That looks pretty kicka$$ - gotta a link to the auction page or seller name?
How's it work - any marring of a delicate surface (like plexi) from the guides? Work with aluminum?
Thanks,
JT
gotta a link to the auction page or seller name?Julian,Just search on Ebay "micro adjust countersink bit". There's no shortage.Fz
What is the angle of the cutter? if I may ask. It seems that the c'sinks I get all have a different angle than the Flat Head machine screws I use (Metric of course!)
Thanks
(the angle of the cutter?)STAINLESS,Sorry, don't know the angle. It did work with the bugle head screws.fz

Yeah, the countersinks like that used to be 50 cents each at Boeing surplus, then the Ebay weenies started buying/re-selling and the store price went to $3 and then $5. Ebayers drove the price of drill bits from $1/# to $1.5 to $3, likewise with most everything small.
When you see a guy leaving with 20 each Gx150 computers at $40 to $75 each, you know they are heated for Ebay, used to be able to get a pallet full of 2 year old computers for $20.
Monitors are to heavy to ship, the 20 inch P200 IBM monitors still only $5, big printers as cheap as $1.00. Bulk/heavy stuff like wire and welding rod and pipe and I beams and air hose still the same price as 15 years ago.
Small Ebay type stuff has often gone up by factor of 10X, like box cutters and diagonal cutters from 40 cent to $4 for some.

They had sold them for 18cents/lb.Fz
I bought one several years ago, but I couldn't figure out how to adjust it.
UncleDunc, (how to adjust it.)
We had to work at it ourselves. The nut on the top is left hand thread- that stopped us for a while. After it is backed off, the lower "limiting stop" adjusts, "clicks in" with the teeth holding the adjustment until you tighten the lock nut. Fz
