I have a new home that was pre-plumbed for a bathroom in the basement (toilet, sink, and shower.) The pipes are under that slab so I obviously can’t see everything that’s going on. The bathroom is more than 6′ for the main stack so I’m assuming the plumbing configuration is for auxiliary venting. Can someone recommend a website that shows diagrams of different plumbing configurations so I can see the function of each pipe and where fixtures will get hooked up?

Here's a rough diagram of how the plumbing looks in my basement. I guess what I'm asking is if the shower and toilet will be vented after I "simply" install them. Also, in the diagram I show a pipe in green that I'm wondering if that is where the drain line for the sink goes . . .

hi mike, from the diagram I would say 'yes' as to the attachment of the lavatory to the pipe you designated green.
The venting of the shower and toilet may have been combined .... maybe someone else can answer. I usually only draw plumbing diagrams ;) Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

The green pipe looks like it would attach to the drain in the floor along with the toilet.
If I were you, I would find the plumber that did this and ask. Go to town hall and find out who pulled the permit. You may even find drawings there.
