Anyone have any pics of built-in storage under stairs? I am working on some design ideas for a customer who has a u shaped stair way (9′ total rise with a landing in the middle). They are looking to create a storage area underneath the landing and the stringer from the first floor to the landing. If clarification is need let me know. Thanks.

Engineered-stone shower panels are waterproof, but proper installation relies on tight seams and silicone sealing.

I've built a house with stairs like that with a storage area underneath. Wasn't really enough space under there to "design".
Sorry....
I tend to agree with the earlier response -- there's not really enough room to do much design work. Basically, you have (probably) a small cavern -- maybe 34X80, but only tall enough for a hobbit. In addition, there is the decreasing-height area under the lower stairs, and the increasing-height area under the upper stair.
Depending on the chosen point of access, the door might be half-height, or it might be full height if it opens into the tall point under the upper stair.
Assuming the door is under the upper stair, that area ends up being mostly the access point for the cavern. I guess you could put a closet rod in the tall portion, but shelves are impossible -- they block the cavern.
And shelves in the cavern would be awkward at best. To access them, you'd need to be on your knees and stooped over. Assuming the area is 34" wide, and you build 10" shelves, then you're on your knees, stooped over, in a 24" space.
Very claustrophobic.
Leave it a cavern, and let the HO pile stuff in it. That's my advice, and it's worth at least as much as you paid for it.

Google up "Tansu" and take it from there. I'm on the same track myself.
We did one where the landing backed up to a master bedroom wall. Bottom of the landing was about 4' AFF. We got 3 big drawers in it. Twar'nt tansu, though.
