Help!! I’m getting ready to finish a residential basement but the concrete slab was poured high in one corner. Most of the floor is level, but approximately 10×15 slopes up about one inch towards the window where they apparently brought the concrete in. Any suggestions for getting it level. Thanks

raise the window?
The window is fine. I need to get the floor level so that I can install Dry-Core.
I could skim the whole thing to bring it up to the high point, but that's kind of expensive. Just wondering if there's a way to bring the high spot down to the rest of the floor
nope. unless ya want to spend days getting to know a grinder real intimatly<G>

Slurry the whole thing and let gravity do the work.

How old is the floor?
How are you going to finish the floor: ply over sleepers with foam board under it, carpet over it, vinyl, tile or wood flooring?
How are you going to heat the basement?
It's about four years old. Approximately 3 to 4" thick over an existing deteriorated concrete floor. I'm planning to finish it with a relatively new product called Dri-Core.
Dri-core is 2x2 t&g osb with high strength plastic dimples adhered to the bottom that keeps it a 1/4 inch of the floor. You can shim it a little but the concrete's gotta be pretty level.
I'm thinking I'll have to break up the high section and re-pour it level. Too pricey to float the whole thing to the highest point. Thanks
