I’m adding radiant floor heating to my 2 story house during a complete remodel. I am also wanting central air, and am looking at high velocity. I would prefer not running a duct from the basement to the second floor (lack of good space for it). I am considering having 2 separate air handlers, one in the basement for the first floor and one in the attic for the second floor. I saw some information on the UNICHILLER system (using chilled water for the refrigerant) which appears to work well with multiple air handlers. Does anyone have any experience with this system, or have other suggestions?

I've done a lot of Unico, a couple of Spacepak, but have never used Unico's Unichiller.
The split setup (separate AH's for up and down) you described will work well...the biggest advantage the Unichiller would give you is that a single Unichiller can handle two air handlers, saving you from haveing to install two condensing units.
Unico sent me some basic info on it a while ago, the only other tidbits I recall is that it also can be set away from the house, and once it arrives on site it's a couple of simple plumbing connections and off you go. It doesn't have to be close to the house like a traditional condensing unit.
I have no idea what the cost per ton is, or comparative efficiency ratings compared to PURON-type systems.
Thanks for the info.
