Last week I was scoping a new skylight location on the flat roof of a house in the Colorado foothills when I noticed 2 disc shaped sensors on elevated boxes about 10-12 ft. from each other. The discs were approx. 6-8 inches in diameter, not more than one inch thick, amd made with a white or grey plastic. More importantly, they had solar panal-like windows on the upside. when I spoke with the home owner she had no idea what they were. I asked if she had automated window blinds which she did but they were operated by a hand held remote. Any ideas what these discs are ?
