Maybe these are common in your neck of the woods, but as far as I know this is the first one of this type of canopy in my area. Yes, most of our gas stations have canopies, but not like this particular one. I probably wouldn’t have realized what was unusual about it if someone hadn’t told me ahead of time.
And does everyone else know what is out of the ordinary about it?

I think the third pic must be the clue to what's unusual. It appears to be that sandwiched acrylic panel stuff, forget what it's called. Like a great big skylight.

i have seen several new car washes built 100% out of the stuff...
i have a new commercial down/ condos up building down the street from me built out of the stuff... building next door to it burned... the new building melted.... guess they took their design ideas from dudes who live in refrigerator boxes under the bridge

i've slept on cardboard under the cats on the beach in ft lauderdale... had a blue one i called home...... but i was young & pretty and someone would always take me in :)
