Not trying to out-do ya Stan… Here are some pics I took yesterday while in my 150C. And yes, central Indiana is as flat looking as Illinois. I’ve included one here for Boss, I’m sure he will appreciate it: Beck’s Hybrids headquarters. It is a good checkpoint for pilots around here, big enough too! Sorry about the quality, was hitting some light turbulence while trying to shoot the pics. If I ever get some clear days without haze I’ll post some pics of the Indianapolis skyline.

that does look a lot like Stan's eastern IL shots. Looks like you're flying a bit higher.
Glad to hear from you again, Mitch.
I've never heard of Beck's hybrids. Could be a local variety.
What exactly is a "150C" anyway?

I think both Piper and Cessna make a 150, however 150C is probably a Cessna. See attached for an example (pulled it of the net).
Gonna need a longer runway than Stan's, but can probably fly quite a bit further.

Hey JohnT8,
Yah, that pic is correct, yet a little newer model. Mine is a straight tail, no back glass. The pics were taken at about 1700 MSL, about 700 feet off the ground. I've included a pic in this post of my ride.
the 150C is a '63 Cessna, two-seater, light aircraft. It was/is a popular training plane. I'm a bit surprised you haven't heard of Beck's, they're pretty well known here in Indiana. I could be mistaken but I thought they owned a large amount of ground in southern Ill.
A lot of seed companies are small and localized. They raise and sell hybrids on the soil types they're designed for.
They may be in southern Illinois too, but I'm more central.
