upflush toilet

Looking for feedback regarding upflush toilets.  The type I plan to install has the holding tank mounted below the toilet and a sewage pump than sends the stuff up and away.  I only need to pump the stuff up about 4 feet. 

The specific manufacturer I was looking at is Star.  They manufacture one that has inputs for sink and shower as well.  Has anyone installed one of these units?  Ease of installation, performance, repair issues etc.?  Does anyone recommend another brand?

    I had a relative who installed one in his basement. They promised no odor problems, but he ended up leaving the exhaust fan running 24/7 because the smell escaped from the sump.
