Could anyone tell me if they have had any problems with having a vapor barrier on the ceiling of a house? I live in Maine and am not really sure if this is a good idea. Won’t the moisture escape through the ridge vent. Input please.

The biggest problem is that so will the warm air in winter and the cool air in summer.

The ceiling is probably the most important place to make tight with vapour bar and caulk at penetrations.
