My crawlspace has a sistern in it, probably 6 feet in diameter w/ couple inches of sitting water. This is Radon country so I want to put in a vapor barrier. I plan to lay some plywood over and then just lay the barrier. Any issues w/ that?
I know I should do the whole radon procedure (barrier, venting, etc) but want to do the least cost first then determine need to spend bigger dollars.

It's a cistern for most people.
It's only called a Sistern in redneck country...............(-:

Sistern. A good word. The female version of a group of related men. You know... Brethren.

Water standing: mold issues.
Treated plywood, I assume?
You could probably keep it dried out with a 1,000 watt halogen bulb... <G>
Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a carpenter to build one.
